The 2012 SUN Conference will be merged with Inforum for 2012. The conference will be held in Denver Colorado at the Colorado Convention Center. This will basically be a SUN conference held within the Inforum conference. The traditional SUN conference format will still be used. We will have an education day and the conference will have 2 ½ days of SyteLine specific sessions. There are 8 educational sessions to choose from on Education Day on 4/22. There are 40 sessions during the conference held 4/23-4/25. All SUN conference attendees will also have access to all the Inforum events including the general sessions and customer appreciation evening. You may choose to attend any session or event, SyteLine or otherwise that are on the conference grid.
The cost to attend is $399 for the Conference and $199 for Education Day. We understand that there is an Inforum published early bird rate of $1695 until February 17th. After that time, the Inforum published rate is $1895. These rates are only for attendees who are not SUN members. If you are a SUN member and yes a SyteLine user, your rate is the $399 for conference and $199 for education day. This is a significant advantage to being a SUN member. To be a SUN member, the rate is $185 per company per calendar year.
To attend this event at the SUN rate, you must register at SUN’s website. We accept checks or credit cards. All credit cards will be processed via PayPal but a PayPal account is not required. To register multiple attendees, first register an attendee and this attendee can invite others to attend. The main contact for the company (the one who signed up and paid for the registration) can invite other employees within the company to join the website. To invite others, click on Invite on the left side under members home. Once here, you can then invite someone to join the website by entering their email address. The person invited will then be able to set up their own username and password.
At the conference, we wanted to make sure that we don’t lose the networking opportunities our normal conference provides. In order to help keep that small conference feel, all conference sessions will be in the same section of the conference hall. We will have a separate lunch where we will conduct our annual business meeting and have our SUN Hall of Fame awards presentation. We are also planning on additional methods to easily identify other SyteLine users. We have a hotel for SUN members which is at a lower cost.
