Hello SyteLine users! It looks like 2012 will be a good year for our group. Our annual SyteLine User Network conference, which was previously scheduled for May in Atlantic City, has been merged with Inforum 2012 in Denver, Colorado from April 22nd to the 25th. The goal all along is to provide the best conference for our users. Because the Inforum conference and the SUN conference were scheduled in consecutive weeks, we did not want you to have to make a choice. We will have the SUN conference within the Inforum conference. The grid will be the same with over 35 sessions and the popular educational sessions. This will be the same great SUN conference but with additional benefits provided by Infor. The cost will be $199 for the Education Day and $399 for the Conference. This SUN member price will get you into the Inforum sessions as well. We will send discount hotel information out shortly. Our new website has been officially launched and offers members new features and improved functionality. We invite you to take it for a test drive and welcome comments on your user experience. Be sure to pass along suggestions for upgrades or features you would like to see included on the site.
Interest continues to grow among SyteLine users to form local user groups that meet periodically. In 2011 the number of regional user groups throughout the country increased significantly. In order to promote and support your efforts to seek out other users, we are adding a user search function to our website. Members will be able to search for other users by software version, add-ons and geography. The user search function will be available soon and its arrival will be announced in our LinkedIn group.
You will have the opportunity to vote for our SyteLine User Group President’s positions while you are at the conference. Ken Kemp we be running for presidency for our group and brings a wealth of knowledge about manufacturing and SyteLine. Ken is well known and respected for his comments on our LinkedIn page. Combined with his energy and can-do attitude, Ken is well qualified to lead our group.
As always, we are looking for users to present at our upcoming conferences. Please contact us if you have useful information to share. Remember, you receive a FREE conference registration if you present a session. We will be putting the conference session grid up on our website so be sure to check it out.
